A thorough explanation of standard treatment options-including medication, therapy, and coaching-as well as alternative treatments, helps guide adults with ADHD to get the most from their healthcare providers.

Both facts and opinions are important to making good decisions, but sometimes they get confused and bad decisions result. This is especially relevant for the topic of ADHD that tends to attract too many opinions that are based on too few facts.

In order to do something, you first need to be aware of it, then be honest with yourself about the need to do it, then be willing to do it. Thank you for this.

I was very disappointed that there were no strategies offered in this podcast. It seem to all be a build up and then dropped flat. No strategies or help suggested and then a lottery offered. My wife is a neuropsychologist, my father-in-law was a psychologist and both of them were always talking about ADHD. Russel Barkley was always quoted by them. I ask my wife about this book and since she is not seeing any patient with ADHD for more than 10 years, did not know of it.

Now she will listen to this audiobook podcast in case one of her patients show signs of ADHD or has been diagnosed as such. She will also recommend the book.
